COCKTAILS

WONDERBIRD MARTINI

  • 2 oz Wonderbird 61, Dry, or Magnolia Experimental

  • 1/4 oz blanc vermouth (we like Lustau Blanc)

Pour ingredients into a mixing glass, fill with ice and stir for 30 Mississippis. Strain into coupe. Garnish with your choice of lemon twist or olive - or make it a Gibson with a cocktail onion.

GIN & TONICS

Classic:

  • 2 oz Wonderbird Dry or Magnolia Experimental

  • 2 oz tonic (we like Fever Tree Light or Q Tonic)

Pour into a glass and fill with ice. Garnish with a squeezed lime wedge. Add some optional fun notes, such as a sprig of rosemary, lemon twist, or black peppercorns.

Wonderbird’s House G&T:

  • 1.5 oz Wonderbird No. 61

  • 0.25 oz Laird’s Straight Apple Brandy (can sub Laird’s Applejack in a pinch)

  • 0.25 oz blanc vermouth (we like Lustau Blanc or Comoz Blanc)

  • 4 drops Bitterman’s Tiki Bitters

  • 1.5 oz tonic (we like Fever Tree Light or Q Tonic)

Build cocktail in glass, add ice, and garnish with a lime wheel and whatever aromatic herb or spice you have available.

CASK FINISHED

OLD-FASHIONED

  • 2 oz Wonderbird Cask Finished Gin

  • 1 bar spoon maple syrup (1 tsp)

  • 4 drops or 1 dash aromatic bitters

Build cocktail in glass, stir and add large cube of ice. Garnish with maraschino cherry & finish with an orange peel expressed over a match to caramelize essential oils.

FRENCH 75

  • 1.5 oz Choice of Wonderbird Gin (try magnolia - its special in a 75)

  • 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice

  • 1/2 oz simple syrup (1 part sugar dissolved in 1 part water) to 1 tsp agave syrup

Add ingredients into a shaker tin with ice and shake. Strain into a chilled cocktail coupe or champagne flute. Top with sparkling wine and garnish with an expressed lemon twist.

NEGRONI

  • 2 oz Gin No. 61

  • 3/4 oz red bitter (we use Cappelletti)

  • 3/4 oz sweet vermouth (we use Carpano Antica

Pour ingredients into mixing glass with ice, stir, strain into a rocks glass with a large cube. Garnish with an orange twist expressed thru a lit match to caramelize essential oils.

LAST WORD

  • 3/4 oz Wonderbird Dry or 61

  • 3/4 oz Green Chartreuse

  • 3/4 oz Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur

  • 3/4 oz fresh lime juice

Measure your ingredients into a shaking tin, add ice, and shake. Strain into a chilled cocktail coupe. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.

MANHATTAN

  • 2 oz Wonderbird Cask-Finished Gin

  • 1 oz sweet vermouth

  • 1 dash aromatic bitters

Pour the ingredients into a mixing glass, add ice to about halfway and stir. Strain the cocktail into a chilled cocktail coupe, and garnish with an expressed orange twist and/or maraschino cherry.
